Cinefest Sudbury is Pleased to Announce CTV Best in Shorts Competition Finalists

Cinéfest Sudbury is thrilled to announce the 2011 finalists for the CTV BEST IN SHORTS COMPETITION. The screening of the finalists’ films will take place on Saturday, September 24th at 12:30 p.m. at SilverCity Sudbury Cinemas, located at 355 Barrydowne Road.



The 2011 Finalists are:

Best in Shorts awards will be presented after the screening in the following categories:

Open Category (Grand Prize: $1,000)
Student Category (Grand Prize $1,500, 2nd Prize $1,000, 3rd Prize $500)
Best Animation Award ($1,000 Sponsored by Collège Boréal)
The Northern Flicks Award ($1,000 Sponsored by Sault College)

Tickets for the CTV Best in Shorts screening of finalists can be purchased at the Festival Box Office – located at SilverCity Cinemas, 355 Barrydowne – prior to the screening on Saturday, September 24th. Passes and books of tickets can be purchased at Cinéfest Sudbury’s main office at 49 Durham Street or at the Festival Box Office.
