Cinéfest Sudbury is pleased to announce the early selections for the Special Presentations programme for the 23rd edition of the festival. This year’s Special Presentations programme will include Canadian, world, documentary and Northern Connections feature-length films and will be representative of the best in contemporary filmmaking.

Cinéfest Sudbury is pleased to announce a selection of
Canadian feature films for the 23rd edition of the festival. The 2011
programme will include new works by Bruce McDonald, Guy Maddin and
Émile Gaudreault and spotlight several up and coming filmmakers directing

La Slague, Carrefour francophone’s show promotion agency, has managed to book French Canada’s foremost comedian at the height of his career.
LOUIS-JOSÉ HOUDE will be on stage at Fraser Auditorium on Friday, May 25th at 8 p.m. for an evening of stand-up comedy. This event is presented in collaboration with the LOL Sudbury comedy festival and Laurentian University.
